This tour is for people who like sunny beaches, the pleasant Mediterranean climate and beautiful nature. During our journey we will travel along the South Albanian coastline, mainly in Ionian zone. The Ionian coast is known for its small, isolated beaches and its deep waters. Citrus and olive trees dominate the landscape. A few highlights of this tour are: (1) The visit to “Syri i kalter” – “Blue eye” a powerful natural spring that has created a small lake of crystal clear water that looks like a giant human eye; and (2) The visit to the ancient town of Butrint, the most important archaeological site in Albania and an UNESCO World Heritage site. Also, you can try all different kinds of Albanian dishes especially the delicious sea food.
Arrival in Tirana. At 18:00, meeting the tour guide at the hotel lobby. Then start by a quick sightseeing tour of the city starting from Scanderberg Square, Mosque of Et’hem Bey, the Watch Tower, “Deshmoret e Kombit” street and Bllok neighbourhood. Dinner. Overnight in Tirana.
Departure to Vlore the second largest port of Albania. Vlora is rich in history and in antiquity. Visit the independence & Ethnographic museums, the Bektashi Tekke of Kuzum Babai which is situated in a hill above the city from which it is offered an amazing view of the city of Vlore, the peninsula of Karaburun, the island of Sazan and the lagoon of Narta. The lunch will be enjoyed there. Leisure time in Vlore, which offers the sandy & rocky beaches. Overnight in Vlore.
After breakfast, driving toward Qeparo located close to gulf of Porto Palermo. Travelling from Vlore towards the south, which will last around 3.5h or 4h you will come across the national park of Llogara 1,025 m above sea level, the park combines the beauties of mountain with a seaside climate. After 20min of driving along the national highway you will enter in Albania Riviera with an astonishing beauty. Lunch in a fish restaurant. Overnight in Qeparo.
After breakfast, visit in the old Qeparo, the tower of Ali Pasha and the Monastery of Shen Dhimitri. Departing to Saranda, continuing the travelling through the Riviera, one of the most beautiful sights of Albania. Dinner at Lekursi castle. Overnight in Saranda.
Leisure time in Saranda where the sea view is a wonderful one. Saranda, “the south Albanian seaport”, is located on a natural shelf facing the island of Corfu. There are many restaurants, where you can try all different kind of Albanian dishes especially the delicious sea food. After lunch, a visit to Ksamil Peninsula, where four small islands emerge in the Ksamili area, covered by Mediterranean vegetation and surrounded by wonderful marine flora and fauna. Overnight in Saranda.
After breakfast, transfer to the ancient town of Butrint, the most important archaeological site in Albania and a UNESCO World Heritage site, which is 18 km far from Saranda. Visit to the Old Amphitheatre, the Temple of Aesculapius, the Baptistery with colourful mosaics and the ancient city walls. Overnight in Saranda.
After breakfast, visit to “Syri i kalter” – “Blue eye” a powerful natural spring that has created a small lake of crystal clear water that looks like a giant human eye. Then travel to Durres. The variety of excellent restaurants and accommodations along the sea’s edge, invite the tourists all over the world to spend their holidays at the Durres beach. Overnight in Durres.
After breakfast, the group will be transfer to Tirana’s airport.
